Very unlikely. The extremists on both sides of crypto are probably wrong. My only prediction about cryptos, blockchain, etc. is their future won't be like anyone is predicting...not going to the moon and taking over the world, nor completely going away either. I suspect they'll find their uses in totally unexpected times and ways.

Nah, none of the usual suspects were Asians. Nick Szabo, Kleinman, etc.

In the story I liked the name put together from 3 Japanese scientists' names. That can not be coincidence.

Yes it has use in the real world as a store of value, just like gold. The same thing everyone has known it for since the begining...
