Sarkozy: Strike Libyan Command and Control

Sarkozy wants to bypass the No Fly Zone idea and go right to air strikes on Gadaffi's command and control centers. Do the French even have any bombs or do we need to sell them a couple?

i say let the french do it. stay out of the way. we have nothing to do with libya and we should opt out.

I agree. But you know what they are planning - they will come up with the idea then ask the U.S. to go do the dirty work for them.

That's only because Sarkozy is seen as weak politically in France and this move would make him look strong and in charge.

Clapper says Gaddafi is going to win against the rebels unless there is foreign intervention. France was the first to recognize the opposition government and wants them to win. Unfortunately, it looks like Gaddafi is indeed about to rout the rebels and regain control for now.
