maybe i'm wrong but the percentage of minorities in office for republicans is closer to a reflection of the presence of minorities who are of age and legal status to be in office. people on the left are quick to assert that minorities in the public and private sectors are underrepresented...but minorities are often not legal (but counted anyway) or are not adults.
