Palin is making a play for some cabinet appointment. She desperately wants to be relevant. She does carry some weight with the crazies in the base, but Trump already has that. My opinion, she can only do damage. A miscalculation by Trump. One of his few. In fact I'd say it's his first. Time will tell.
Palin is insulation from the NY values attack. No one she puts off was voting for Trump anyway, but plenty of people who admire her were going to vote for Cruz.
I'm just telling ya', the people I talk to don't like Palin, and they're all Trump supporters. As an example one guy, who still thinks Obama is a Muslim, avid Trump supporter, retired Navy Officer, asks me, do you think Palin helps Trump? I say the downside is greater than the upside. He says, me too. Another guy. Trump supporter. Gun nut. Lets just say could live in an all white world. He says, after about 5 minutes of listening to the Palin speech he just wanted to say SHUT THE FUCK UP. These are not center of the road type people. They are far right and even they don't care for Palin.

I agree except like AAA said, if it gives him Iowa it may have been worth it as long as it doesn't get out of hand. My enthusiasm for Trump dropped dramatically when that shrill voice brought back all the bad memories.
I wouldn't want to listen to her for an hour, and she is not exactly a policy expert, but her heart's in the right place. I admire her for surviving what the democrats and media put her through. No one in public life should have to deal with the kind of outrageous shit that SNL and others dumped on her and her family. I literally cannot stand the sight of that bitch Tina Fey to this day. They swoon over a dirtbag like Bill Clinton, they will not tolerate even the mildest criticism of Obama, but a decent wife and mother from Alaska can be attacked in utterly scurrilous terms and everyone thinks it's a big joke. Well, looks like the joke may be on them.
She doesn't have high level power connections in Washington, elite academia or finance, so the pundits questioned whether she was vice Presidential material. But a big part of the base liked her and still does. I can't see this hurting Trump. It may hurt Palin in the long run if Trump ends up losing the election for the Republicans one way or another, but not Trump.
Yeah i never understood the rights infatuation with her, shes a train wreck.
