Offer up legislation both sides can agree upon, the filibuster is there by design so one side can’t dictate.
Dem’s didn’t mind the filibuster when they were the minority.
Republicans will not pass any legislation at all whatsoever outside of tax cuts, and republicans will not work with democrats on immigration.
Now, just understand republicans have undertaken a legislate from the bench approach to government and have sought to hand more and more power to the president.
Yes, the leakage of legally purchased guns into the hands of criminals is a problem that needs to be included. Massive tightening on sales and ownership is a start, and severe penalties for those who lose chain of custody for their firearms. Registration and periodic proof of custody.
Totally disagree. Trump offered DACA recipients a path to citizenship, that included many more than originally considered by the Dem’s but the Democrats turned him down.

Democrats replaced enforcement of immigration laws properly and duly enacted by Congress with - just as one example- DACA- an executive order by a Dem President.
Trump was constitutionally required to defend the border and constitutionally required to enforce the laws as an enacted.
This never happened. Pelosi did offer 25B for his wall in return for DACA and Trump decided to listen to Miller instead.
He certainly did not. He tried to end DACA but was unsuccessful because him and his administration was a group of morons who couldn’t provide a reasoned explanation for its rescission.
End the filibuster if you want e verify.
DACA held as legal though, didnt it? Next time don’t send a moron to the White House who doesn’t understand the law and maybe you might have a point then but today DACA holds and is legal so sit down.

The Trump administration has finally made a detailed and public proposal on what to do about the so-called "Dreamer" illegal immigrants who came to this country as children.
Predictably in this climate of political rancor, leading Democrats are already slamming President Trump's offer. But even a casual analysis of the White House plan shows why the Democrats would be crazy to reject it. Though it's not the "skinny deal" that would more easily pass, it does offer Democrats a number of benefits and a chance to save face after the shutdown mess.
First, the Trump offer covers a surprisingly larger number of illegal immigrants than expected. The White House plan more than doubles the number of people who could take advantage of its pathway to citizenship.
It would include not just the roughly 700,000 Dreamer immigrants who have applied for DACA protection since 2012, but an additional 1.1 million illegal immigrants who could have qualified but have not yet applied.
That's a major gift from the administration any way you look at it. Democrats were hoping to come out of these eventual negotiations with protections for about 800,000 people. But without even presenting a counteroffer, they're being offered protection for 1.8 million.
