San Francisco's Reparations Committee Proposes $5M Award to all Blacks in City

I'll keep that in mind for '24 What I can't understand is how black culture has descended
so much in the last 60 years or so. What happened to the MLKs? What happened to the Rosa Parks's?
Is it all just a money grab now? What about honor? What about responsibility? Where are the black heroes?
The ones that make the world a better place? Is it all just rap and drugs?

Another thing about blacks is they are the smartest group in this country politically.Unlike whites over 50% of them don't vote against their own self interest and 90% of them don't fall for republicans bull shit.

You only have to look at Hollywood and the movies they produce nowadays. A lot of those movies bombed out resulting in huge losses. When they put blacks and the LBTQ community members as the lead in the movies, majority of Americans tuned them out. Go woke, go broke showed them who was boss. Award shows too are in the tank with the lowest viewership and ratings. Maybe, there is still a sliver of hope for the US. I say a sliver of hope as huge numbers of Americans still voted for Joe Biden and Democrats very bad economic policies in the last midterm elections. Maybe, the coming recession will finally teach those foolish voters that elections have consequences.

BTW,this is another thing you should keep to yourself during your campaign,the black vote is pretty important to a democrat running for president,in both the primary and general.You really need some better political consultants

Guessing this was meant for me. Off the top of my head, this is the dumbest city council proposal I’ve seen in my lifetime. It distracts from people who are seriously trying to find actual solutions and becomes propaganda to broad-brush the entire party. Prominent black Democrats should be mocking it, because it’s insane. We’re going to give every black person more wealth than 99% of Americans have and a guaranteed income for 250 years? Yeah…ok. Time for San Francisco to drop this bullshit and fix the homeless/drug crisis plaguing its city.

It distracts from people who are seriously trying to find actual solutions and becomes propaganda to broad-brush the entire party. Prominent black Democrats should be mocking it, because it’s insane. We’re going to give every black person more wealth than 99% of Americans have and a guaranteed income for 250 years? Yeah…ok. More good news. Google just announced layoffs of 12,000 of their employees. Since, most of their employees are hateful and intolerant of others, this is karma coming to collect. Cannot wait for the woke academics getting paid 6 figure salaries to get laid off by extreme liberal colleges and universities. These are the academics teaching their students to hate the US and their parents.

I have a nagging feeling overtly "progressive" dumb policy proposals are planted/fueled/over reported at times by the establishment to ignite the culture war issues at the expense of policy. Think Fox news nothingburgers but kindled from a "left" perspective.
