Sample DDE order for TWS API

Hello,

I have lost my previous works on an excel ATS, and I am always having problems to submit exact order line, forgetting some _, _{}_ , or required fields. It's beginning with : =edemo|ord!id1?place?BUY_1....

Should someone post a sample working DDE order command, please?

there is an example excel file in API folder. also-TWSAPI yahoo group.you can ask your question over there.

I've already posted it on the yahoo group and no answer. I have a sample forex order command that works but when i want a futures order with expiry, LMT order type and limitprice, it doesn't work...

you should get some errors back,if order was invalid or something missing. any errors?

No, in fact nothing happens. The spreadsheet cell returns 0. The sample forex order command that I have ( with no expiry, LMT, and limitprice fields works perfectly, order showing on sim TWS...

i'm not an expert in all this s**t, but i would start from checking expiration date format.
