If we can't even convince liberals that guys sticking their johnsons up each other rear ends is wrong, how are we ever going to convince them that keynesian economics or anything else is wrong.

So you can't tell Dad you're gay because dad is uneducated, closed minded and judgemental? somehow now, Dad is the one with all the problems and he's not even gay? Au contraire, how would we know dad is uneducated on the issue of homosecxualtiy? I'm sure Dad arrived at his "gay" conclusions on homosexualtiy through experiences of interacting with men throughout his life, some of whom were probably gay.
The Dad's son is gay and chose not to tell his Father the news. Oh well, what's the problem, is it necessary to share our inner most feelings thoughts and lifestyles with everyone? Does everyone in order to live a complete life need to share every last Face book detail with everyone else in this world?
Dad is dad and guess what? I don't need to know every trial and tribulation of my dads life to know him, now do I?
Well, I suppose the most important thing in a young mans life is acceptance from the father and you know sometimes you can get acceptance and respect with the unsaid.
Was it good advice? Don't know, no brownie points for pissing off the old man, oth, not telling Dad you're gay might seem respectful.
So if you can't tell Dad, what's the worse that can happen? You can't bring around your gay friend and introduce him to your dad?
Or tell gay life stories? Plenty of other things to talk about than who does the dishes.
