my parents and many of my relatives, friends and their friends which I know, have PHDs ... I know countless number of people with PHDs and have seen their life from up-close (not counting my parent's) ... I don't want to go on explaining what jerks and fags they are ... but seriously I have no respect for their life ... mental status ... their level of understanding which is very low ... and their fucked up view of life (which is no where near reality) ... I can't help it but see them as worthless as everyone else in this world
I have my degree in EE ... the only thing I regret is the years I wasted in university and school ... I wish I had never even gone to school ... one day I complained to the head of our department (a nigar with a PHD) and he said "you are fortunate to be in this university" ... "I said no, you are only workers, and universities are only a service ... I have paid for this service and I deserve more, and you people don't even work" ... then he just shut up and had nothing else to say.
... you talk as if you want to show that you really know what people's life with a PHD is like. ... they have nothing for their own life but to brag about their degree till the day they are put into their rotten grave ...
science and universities are the religions and churches of today ... exactly how religion and the fucking church and it's bitch ass God was a pain in the ass some years ago ... today the body of science, their system has become the religion that everyone believes in ... everyone respects ... and hardly anyone can talk against .. cause then they are talking against logic and knowledge ...

That is exactly right. IMO schools are very disconnected from what actually goes on in the business world. They are too busy working on "social engineering/feel-good" stuff.

correct but irrelevant. employers are looking for employees who have shown discipline to complete college. they then conclude that you are trainable for company goals.

Seek help, and I sincerely mean it. You have a lot of unresolved issues and the sooner you address them the sooner you will reach a piece of mind and good mental health.

It's not likely you would have gotten your job at Morgan Stanley without your degree, so obviously college wasn't a waste of time for you. Or are you saying you don't really want your job in the first place, in which case, why are you working there?

If you talk about consutruction then physical toughness matters, but plumbing and electricity are actually easier of the jobs. It does however take a strongly focussed mind to become a college professor, someone who is not afriad of information overload to the mind and still be able to process the inputs and make good conclusions.

i do not post much, but i need to comment.
that poor guy imo is beyond hope. people like that never change; even with intervention. his case is an extreme of how a lot of simple and angry people think.
in my case, i sit at a desk most of the day. people who are simple think you can be interrupted easily because you are not "active". but of course the reality of the situation is, without my decisions, everything grinds to a halt. this poor, poor (misspelling is the least of his troubles) person cannot even see the importance some basic facts. impossible person to reason with.
