You are simply a typical narrow minded American who thinks the universe revolves around the United States. How many Americans between the ages of 15 and 30 can tell you about the Iraq/Iran war of the 1980s? It lasted 8 years and cost the lives of half a million Iraqi and Iranian soldiers. In terms of lives lost, it was more than 100 times as apocalyptic as 9/11.
