The US has a bad habit of bungling just about everything it touches. Their allies look on aghast at their stupidity. Not again they must be saying !!

I don't have the 5 mins chart for the Saddam's capture Monday, but I looked it up on Yahoo:

The Friday's close was 1074 and the high on Monday was 1082.8, that is only 8+ pts, but if I recall, by the open the futures were already falling. So the overnight futures were up 12-15 pts I think. And just like today, that Monday also ended in the red, down by -6 pts at 1068....

Funny thing is that my memory is not so good (alright, it is bad), but somehow I remembered this one....
