I had a client that did not want to invest with us any longer because we used to mail her confirms and she thought that was a waste of money. I forget how much stamps were back then. We had no choice since it was many years before the internet.

Clearly, she was ahead of her time but we had no alternative.

One common thread in all these interviews is that all of these great traders had at least 3 or 4 moments when they couldve been wiped out, but didnt due mostly to luck. If they werent so lucky perhaps we wouldnt be reading about them.

I think you could probably say the same thing for every successful business or person. Becoming successful is very difficult that's why it's so interesting to hear the stories of people who have actually done it.
