blueraincap for me the biggest issue was of stability and reliability. WTS has been around for a while (a result of a merger, where both the previous companies were around for even longer). JC Trading (which is a sponsor here on ET) is one of the sub-groups of WTS.
In reading the reviews of JC, it reflected positively on the standards that WTS held their sub-groups to. I narrowed it down to both JC and Integra Capital. Both are very stable and reliable outfits with good customer support.
I could have gone with either as the difference was minimal and that leads to your choice being a subjective one. For me, I ended up with
Integra Capital for a couple of reasons.
They are based in NYC, a 4 minute walk from Wall St. Should I decide that I want to pursue my career further, there is no better place to meet and greet in this profession, than in the Big Apple. You can trade from their office too should you make appropriate arrangements.
The manager of that group (Zack Nadel) is SUPER nice and very accommodating; JC Trading's manager is equally nice.
Commissions would depend on the volume you trade and your experience. However, they are probably the best you will find in the industry. Monthly fees for the platform, ECN access etc. come to around $225.
All in all, you could go either way and it would probably work out okay.
Wishing you the very best in your search,
Alpha.
