S/R

Casey,
I think maybe you're showing overnite data, where I'm not.
But just to make sure we are all on the same page, I'm looking at a gap on NQ, and ES from 1/2-1/5, 4:15 close, 9:30 open NY time.

ES chart below

yes you are right , my chart shows the gap filled , but on a after 4:00 pm candle( overnight data then ).That means I'll have to look at different charts to find gaps ( other than my mine).

Are we looking at the same date?

Your charts are showing 24hr data.

Gaps will occur on regular session charts and gaps will provide great S/R because of the 'gap filling' phenomenon.

'Gaps filling' is a whole other discussion though.

Going in to today on the ES there is a lot of people underwater from the 16th of Jan , above the 1134 -5 range.

At the current rate of decent, I show the supply line, beginning on 1/26, arriving at the 36 area at about 11- 11:30 today.

1136 = R2 today

Given the plummet, supply is more likely to be found at the LRL on the 23rd than the supply line, which is still tentative. The number/zone is the same, but it's important to be clear as to the reason for the resistance, if any.

Edit: Note that this zone has already been tested as S, and failed, by the NQ.
