I agree with Romik. I do not bail out of a trade based on time I only bail based on the validity of my signal going bad.
 
Just a note for all you guys. Looking at the BB's this thing is about to blow pretty nice. All I see is upside strength right now. I am seeing strength across the board in all indexes. The Naz has been kind of lagging the DOW but is starting to pick up now.

That being said I still believe that you guys that are day trading should enter every day with an unbiased mind and just trade the breakouts. Here is what I would trade tomorrow or Friday when we get a break out.

Long 1364

Short 1349.50

Expecting a big trendy move tomorrow, especially in the er2. Hold on to your runners for bigger profits. Do not try to call a bottom or top tomorrow.. you will be runover. These days only happen about 4 to 7 times a month and cut through SR levels. Trade with the move and thank me later for this info.
 
fomc was a tremendous nothing to any daytrader.......today and most days ....about a 3 bar issue or 4...15 min chart...has zero to do with making money trading eminis....for me anyway........
 
take what u think tomorrow might could should probably very likely will happen and add 50 cents an d u can buy a cheap cup of coffee.....quit stringing newbies down the wrong road with the discretionary groping.......

Depends on who you are asking. I started seeing this up trend quite a while ago and even posted it on here. But this next move I am seeing with the tightening of the Bollinger Bands. Right now they are tighter than at anytime in this trend which tells me we are in for a big move. BB's won't tell you which direction the move will be though so you have to use your own charting skills to do that. I see strength in the market right now so I think it will move up fairly strong.

Thanks Gary. I guess the whole thing confuses me because the market seems so crazily overbought right now, at tops of trend channels and all that... I just don't know how the bulls can be so resiliant for much longer, personally. Won't there eventually be no more sellers to sell to the buyers and then... I dunno, I'm just a little green to it all I suppose.
