Yep I am sitting on the sidelines today at this point. I think we are at a pivotal level for all the markets. My trend line for the Q's has been touched 4 times so far and can't break through it. So this could spell an end to this rally. But we will wait and see.

My opinion, good move. We have been inching up with lower volume and I am thinking we might have reached the top. Like I said though, this is only an opinion.

i too am on the sidelines and i agree with your assessment of a market top, although i am keeping an open mind....

you know, with all my dot dot dots, i just realized that the guy who said tq spooz etc are all the same person may think i'm in that bunch too! now THAT'S really funny.... :p
 
gary, are you going to tell us what all these options are that you're loading up on, or is that too personal? don't answer if it is, don't want to dig too deep, just wondering if it's put or call (which way you're betting) and if it's stock or index, like s&p.

i have done a lot of options trading, but don't tend to make very good trades unless i'm supremely confident which way the stock will go (even then it's hard). since i don't like to throw away money, i don't buy many options and if i do, they're for a longer period (3 months or more, usually). some people have excellent experience with options, though, and i didn't know if you were betting on a stock you know really well, or betting on the market as a whole.

i really think this market is headed for a fall, but i don't want to get too invested in that opinion, so i'm waiting on the sidelines for now.
 
From what I've been told TQ has no real person behind the Nik and I do believe the source, I've been talking to George all the time only to find that there is no George, he is just an alias of another poster on ET, there is no 100% system (every trade that is to be positive), end of week, month, year is another matter and the whole 100% thing has no math equation to it as far as ROI goes, none in this case. I can say I've made 1000% in month, there is no weight to that statement and he did say it before that he has gone down the "Phantom tubes" LOL
