i had a great trading day! but not on futures.
i was checkin out the posts here, though, and it seems like folks were just hangin out, not really trading today. looked at the s&p. seemed to me to be just churning....
i think trading s&p futures profitably is one of the hardest things you can do. my hat's off to those of you who manage to do it well.
i come to this thread a lot for two reasons: one to learn and two cuz i like the vibe here - generally very kind and considerate.

Good to hear some besides just Volente had a good trading day. I had no trades today.
We try very hard to keep this journal nice and clean for all. So far I think we all are doing a good job of it. I don't know if it is because we all got tired of arguing with people and decided to settle down here or what. But I sure like to provide a learning site with friendly people from all over the world. I like to get excited win I win a trade and I like to hear others do it as well. Maybe childish or bad for traders to be emotional like that but we are all making money in a difficult market so I am happy.

It sure is. Although, I think if you get good at it, which takes many years, it becomes the easiest way to make money. IF you make it through the learning curve, that is.

I always tell people trading is the hardest way to make easy money.
Once again tomorrow I am going to be very careful with trading. I can easily see how it could be another small range day jst building up for a big week next week. I will only trade if my numbers get hit tomorrow. My S/R numbers will change for tomorrow.
Long 1309.25 - 1312.25
Short 1301.25 - 1297.00
