Thanks for the charts from yesterday Gary. Were there any clues that the price would break to the upside. One could have simply waited for the price to break to the upside or downside of the pennant/flag and only then made an entry - it would still have been quite profitable.

Thank you, I hope that everyone is continuing to learn how I am figuring the levels the I do. Once all this stuff clicks with you you will have a lifetime of trading. And it doesn't cost anything but your time. How cool is that.

Yes, there were very good clues. Both of these patterns are continuation patterns. Market had been moving up before the start of this pattern so the breakout should be to the upside. If you are trading these patterns you place your buy at the top of the pattern. Not just a breakout of the pattern. This makes for a very safe play.
 
i usually like to play only short
but today i am really scared the way the market fool us
even do costoco said earing will not meet expet

I had to bail. I don't have time to wait for this trade to work or fail. I am down 1 point on the day.
