Since you're the resident expert on pennants and I'm still getting used to spotting them I wanted to ask you what you thought of the one in the YM this morning. I've attached a chart to the post for you. No rush on an answer since I have to run out for a bit. Thanks!

I sure wouldn't call me an expert on these but I am still learning. What you have there is a Bull Triangle. These should break to the horizontal. This one did not until later when it really wasn't valid anymore. Sometimes all chart patterns fail but if you are trading the breakout of them you are safe. Good pick up though.

Glad to see an active group of newbies. It would be great to have an even more active chat room here with a knowledgable as well as a learning group of people. We'll have to get rid of the rif-raf though. Uh oh, that's me!!!

Yes, I am happy to see several new guys here as well. I hope they have been making money this week. The mornings have been very good the last 2 days.

I agree, it's been an AM mkt. for a few days I've only made one trade a day. The way today started out I thought the same thing might happen, but the aft. reversal turned out nicely.
