this was like a good old fashioned slobber knocker for me today! I felt like both arms are about to be pulled out of socket. I dont think the market knows where it wants to go, much less us!

Edit: every time it looks like it may continue.... like as in 2:13pm est it breaks. Cant get any continuation today.

You know what I really enjoy about this? I have been running a very stressful, time consuming, can't go on holidays, sorry honey I am going to be late today, tight profit margin overtaxed 7 day per week business. This is heaven in comparison and even though my wife does complain at times at the amount of time I spend at my office, it can not be compared to the restaurant. I have paid a price, hopefully, to start enjoying life more.

EDIT: Looks like I will attempt another short at same level, we'll see.

I know where you are coming from Romik . I had 5 restaurants over the past 15 years and trading is a respite. Family life took me out of the restaurant business...
 
I have been taking a lot of trades this morning just to get some experience. Just using the simulator account and getting whacked. Taking many more trades than i normally would take. Thank you very much, I hope it works out, im actually happy my first day is kicking my butt, it humbles me and if i can learn to trade days like today, then I should be OK.

I have been taking my drubbings with trading and finally coming out ahead...Lots to learn....lots to apply...sticking to my rules..applying what I have learned here

Overtrading and revenge trading are 2 most common mistakes that novice traders make, it's not what makes money in this game for us mortals.
 
I mastered Euphoria trading for the first few days, trading again and again off of wins...Until I lost a few times. Now I break after every trade to record performance and data. I don't trade without keeping a written record.

You do appear to be doing well at it and I think you have built up some respect from a lot of traders here at ET. Of course you probably lost it all with Wonder J, but who cares.
