I had to bail one tick early. This trade was getting too stressful. After price hit my entry a few times and did not fill I decided on that last pullback to double my order. I kept telling myself to get out with 1.5 or even one but just couldn't let up on this trade. But I finally pulled the trigger and got 1.75 eventhough I still believe the 2 points are there. Anytime I get scared of a trade I like to bail. Especially if I am in the money. So I get my steak tonight and my wife finally gets a steak to but she might not get a drink with hers. Someone has to be punished for not getting my 2 points might as well be her.

Good trade Romik, you get your to.

Nice one! I'll have a burger, thanks. I am here all day, waiting for some more levels.

Gary,
On average, how long do you give the trade to get your 2 points? I would imagine you like to see a straight run to your target with few pauses along the way. How do you know when to give up on your 2 points? Just experience?

Nice trade btw...also glad to see romik didn't have to wait 4 hours today to pocket some coin.

I got out with +1.5. Pleased, but also annoyed because I accidently got my first trade off in Sim and all the orders showing on the chart were for Sim. It captured +2, but my real order did not get filled.

I had now lost visibility to my actual account and wasn't sure how to get it back. When the trade looked toppy, I hit the flatten everything button.

I am not touching it for now, but looks like there will be a reversal now, there has to be some profit taken for the longs and RSI is touching 70 on daily.

Flatten All, I love that button. Way to go.

Rick,
Did you get out with some money. I hope you didn't let a winning trade turn into a loser.

Gary

Yes, after realizing my first order was with sim, the price had fallen back a bit and allowed me to reenter with real account for same price. After the sim stuff closed, the only indication I had of my real order was my positions screen. I just watched that and when things got flaky, I bailed. I captured +1.5 with real $.

MDT,
I don't really put a time on my trade but I will get out if I feel anxiuos about it. Most of the time these trade will take off and get our 2 points very fast but on days like this where we have a lot of up and down it takes longer for the market to make new highs or lows so I have to be patient if I want to trade them.

I am very happy with this trade though since I was dumb enough to double up on it. I don't usually do that but I thought I knew what the market was going to do. I think now I might have been lucky on it though.

That is exactly what I want to see you do. The more you do that the better you get with keeping your money and adding to your account. Good job...Actually perfect job...
