Don't sweat it, MDT. It was pretty choppy this morning.

A lot of traders out there don't even have rules that dictate their max daily loss and it is to their detriment, IMHO.

Go cut that grass, don't look at your charts for the rest of the trading day and come back ready to go tomorrow.
 
I'm so tired of the Fed having such an impact on the market. Had a nice long going until the friggin Beige Book came out. Barely escaped with a profit on my second half.

Nothing to contribute, just needed to vent.:mad:

Just got back from the barber and a quick stop at the driving range to work out a small kink in the old swing. My sweet fade is back!

Boro- thanks. I've picked up a few nuggets of wisdom on ET and daily max loss is one of them. Osorico had a YM journal a few months back, and a current one called Payback, that turned me on to the idea of max loss per contract/max daily loss. I'm pretty conservative in my trading so it's easy for me to shutter' down when I have a max loss day.
