Didnt think it would go so high today
Thank a lot guys :)

are you day trading this beast? If so, you can't base your entries on 'I think', your system should tell you what to do, as soon as you bring in 'I think' into day trading, your odds are fooked pretty much. Maybe, if you haven't overextended your position by now, you could swing this trade.

what are using to fade these moves.

the combo of S/R and Flags and Pennants and such are pretty much getting the job done around here abouts.

p.s. fading moves is scarry

sh*t, that smarts but it's not the end-of-the-day.

we still got, oh, about 1 1/2 hour to go.

did you get out at 1261? (when it touch for about a microsecond) are sitting and patiently waiting to catch the next upside?

i've been wrong (for like, years), but this baby just don't look like it wants to drop back down today.

best,

jimmy

Markets almost exactly where I left it a few hrs. ago. On the short term chts. this seems to be developing a nice long base. Usually that's potential for another leg up.

Hope you turned around and caught that up move ksonsinc ... and if not tomorow's another day.

Stick around, Gary runs an excellent thread and working with 'em will get you ship-shape in no time.

Best,

Jimmy

Hey guys. I'm back. Did I miss anything?

Lesson #1: Past performance is not indicative of future results. (ie: not trading today because I've had poor Mondays over the past few weeks was a BAD decision!)

Lesson #2: Never underestimate End-of-month/End-of-quarter mutual fund buying.

Hope everyone raked it in hand-over-fist today!

I smoothed a little 3-over par 75 at Dauphin Highlands just outside Harrisburg so all wasn't bad for me today. :D :D :D

I've contemplated dealing with the Monday dilema too. Today, I just went for a quick 10 ticks and got them. Once the market settled into it's move, I jumped back in and did fine.
