One thing I learnt day trading ES is to not go short on a day like today, the odds are simply not favourable. I would estimate pushing 2% near end of this session.

are you serious bro?

this thing is just consolidating for its second leg up.

my suggestion (which you may or maynot choose to take at your discretion), close the position and look to turn-around and catch some of this upside.

... and do not ever fade trends again (believes me, I learned this lesson the hard way, but those lessons are the best).

no, i don't think it's going to hit the top again and reverse today, i think it's going to hit the top today and blow right past it.

but until the market actually does it, that's just what i think.
