Quote from JimmyJam:
Yeah, I know, but discipline ...
I don't believe that FOMC Call days, Half-Days, Pre-Week Holidays, Bullish pre 4th of July Week effect, Dog Days of August, Thanksgiving Day Sale blow-off, December Effect, etc. etc. etc. should affect whether a trader enters a trade, or not.
Most guys would say "I'm wrong", but that's OK. I've seen a lot of traders make exceptions to their methodology based on all the criteria that I've listed above, and more.
My goal in trading is to implement my methodology as consistently as possible (as if I were automated trading).
I honestly believe that this is part of the "edge" that mymini discovered, and along with a great money management algorithm (which I have yet to figure out) he was able to produce realtime results that were extraordinary.
So without the MM, I should be able to at least produce results that are "good" (in this game that's still in the top 5 %).
Best,
JJ
