Hi everyone.
First i'd like to thank you all for this great thread.
i like the way you talk about complex things in a non-complex way.
You make it comprehensible even for a newbie with awful english language skills like me!!

this post is only to salute you all..
i will soon post my ideas and add my effort in order be helpful, if i'm able, to the room.

Sure thing you've been helpful to me.

Sorry again for my poor english but i will improve..i promise

Axis,
Welcome and thank you. I think we have a great group of traders in here. We look forward to any suggestions and/or questions you might have. And by the way I am from Texas so my english is not the best in the world either.

i traded stocks for some years and since 2003 traded also italian futures but the problem was, in my opinion, the small volume so i got problems with filling orders hanging out there wondering if you were right or wrong about it... so my action was choppy and decided now to switch to e-mini.
I'd like to ask you where do you take your charts real time ( i was subscribing Quote.com but heard about problems with that platform..is it true?)and some advice about brokers and hints about cost for round turn.

Thanx for everything

I use e-signal for my charting and GHCO Futures for my broker. I believe Alaron has a package deal that includes everything and is a lot cheaper. I just don't like to change once I get used to something.

Anybody else have suggestions?

I need everybody's help today. I need you guys to cheer for the Q's to hit 39.50...:D

This was my first option trade in about 6 months and I really want to hit my target today so I don't carry it over the weekend.

I hope we all have a great trading day today.

Never mind, I bailed out on it just a few minutes ago at 39.05. Should have kept going up and I didn't like the way it was coming down so I took my profits on the call side and now hoping to see it tank so I can make more on the put side. I have 2-3 weeks for it to happen. If not I made money on it anyway.

Now lets get back to the ES.

4re,

Not that you asked, and I'm sure you're aware, but time decay hits options most during the last 30 days. You may want to get rid of thos puts if they're worth more than .25 a piece.

Yeah, I know but I already banked some profit on the trade so I would like to see what happens next week. If they expire worthless it is ok. I would like to see it drop back to 38.00 next week which is very possible. Even if it gets close I'll probably take it.
