I have been looking through different calculations for pivot points and since the ES is based on S&P 500 with stocks in different markets, what determinatiion can we make on choosing relative pivot point calculations?

A few days ago "riaamaan" shared the following web site which may be helpfull to you re: Pivot Points.

Good Luck
Alex

Well, I guess I missed the whole day today. Also looks like my long at 87.50 would have screwed me up as well. Also my short at 1269.75 didn't do it either. Looks like I picked the top and the bottom for the day instead of good entry points. I think I am going to be around for tomorrow morning though.

BTW, Romik did you see CAL today. It hit 24 but I going to wait for 22 still have 5 weeks left on the contracts

I was getting scared when it broke support at 25 and came back up. Now we just need to break the next level at 24 and 22 should be in the works

How was your trading day today?

I checked the site and couldn't find any pivot points or calculations.

I think you can Google pivot point calculator and it will give you some of them. Also some charting companies have it built in, I know E-Signal does.

When you go to the site and click on pivot points it gives you the pivot points for the day as well as telling you how to calculate it yourself if you want to.
