short term, only shorts are in the game, not GS.
there is no big picture top.
once the shorts finish there will be no follow up selling and market will reverse and slowly go up as it has been doing.

Yes more free money because of this higher tighter channel. Add that in plus the fact that when they release the new coronavirus medicine the markets should rally an easy 15% into spring.

But the macro picture is changing slowly. Lowest PMI in 5 years. Not a prediction, just following the market.

looks like the monthly chart has gone into a higher tighter channel which generally means some, or a lot, more upside

So what happens if the Coronavirus gets everyone quarantined worldwide, like the billion people already in China (streets are empty in most Chinese cities).
Would the chart play any role in this?

So what happens if the Coronavirus gets everyone quarantined worldwide,

if that is worse than expectations, then we are looking at a spike down and then huge up so that GS can sell at good rates ….and then after all the shorters are dead, market will crash

the markets do not conform to the crowds expectations it goes opposite

I don't know what GS is doing, I don't know if they are responsible for market movements. I just follow the market. End of story.

There is a guy I follow on YouTube, MyStrategicForecast, and he always talks about the market as a "they". IMO, sure the market can be manipulated but it is unhelpful to try and figure out what "they" are GOING to do, just what is happening.

Agreed. Shorting the indexes should be done sparingly. Very sparingly.
