Then you don't understand the actions of most corporates these days. They indiscriminately target every Russian regardless of where they live. If you are a Russian citizen these days then the social justice warriors and corporates just put a big fat David's star and target on your forehead. Great way to handle the situation.

I am sure if you are a Russian citizen working in the West and defend Putin's war, you will not be looked at kindly, quite deservedly. I abhor those type of sanctions as much as you do. And the vilification of an entire race. We are on the same page on this. My point was that the west does currently not have any military options at all. Rather than admitting that and looking for negotiations to find solutions they cowardly instruct corporates and social justice warriors to promote hatred towards an entire race hoping this will make ordinary Russians put pressure on Putin. It won't work.

And that has been my point all along. In war times most people are not rational. Not even those who should remain rational. That's why the likes of Churchill demand such respect and hold a role model status in the history books.

But even worse, not even during war times, certain cultures are so emotionally unstable that they leash out at anyone they perceive has the same nationality or skin color or eats the same food as some identified threat. Asians during covid especially in the US is an excellent example. Or how about the Japanese internment camps of thousands of innocent AMERICAN citizens of Japanese origin in the US after the pearl harbor attacks. Those American Japanese were the same who served in WW2 and became the highest decorated war heros who fought for the US. History has a funny way to put racists and dumb people into their right place.

I think people just like to pick on Asians just because they think they can... Seriously if some Russian mafias in the US even openly supported Putin, I highly doubt people would dare to even squeak a peep. LOL

Huh? If you're a law-abiding Westerner not of Russian extraction and you have a Google Play or Apple App account linked to a Russian bank account you would be locked as well. So? It is not a sanction against you, it is against the bank. Get yourself a bank account not linked to a rogue pariah state.
