There are ways to make a top call. Risk 1% of portfolio max, trade it with a 2-4 pt stop and let it run for a homerun. If your wrong, you should most likely reverse and you will make it back in your next 1 or 2 trades. Dont wait for market to drop 10-20 points, go short and start adding more when it starts coming back up. 7 out of 10 tops always have a retest, that is the best way to get in with limited risk. Bull markets never just roll over.. plain and simple. If you have learned anything from these posts, take away the point that you should never short the bottom and always risk a small amount because even if your skilled like some of us on here are, you will be wrong about 30-40% of the time making a climatic top call.

I'm sorry your pattern recognition skills are so shoddy that you jump to wildly incorrect conclusions. That helps explain why your trading career is going so poorly.

e g .. the time frame that you look at —60 min/ day or week?

Is it qualified for retest if the market pull back for one day on the other hand on weekly chart market has not retested since July?
