I thought S&P admitted their mistake but stated the $2 trillion miscalculation was spread out over the next 10 years and they base their ratings on a 3 to 5 year outlook, so they were standing by their rating?Quote from clacy:
I do not blame S&P for using different assumptions because frankly, you can't trust the Treasury Department's numbers. Clearly they will always err on the side of optimism.
