I'm in an odd mood. Let us speculate, although we will not speculate every day. Only on days when it pays to speculate.
This speculation could be done on any major / broad US index. For my purposes, I will look at S&P 500 cash index (although futures, options, or SPY would be acceptable products). This is an experimental signal, not necessarily a complete system. It should be viable with just the simple open/close entry/exit intraday. If it's not, I will trash it
