Anyone trade seasonality ?
Maybe it's more related to commodity trading ?

Someone posted a heatmap years ago that proved very accurate. Im sure the very smart traders incorporate it into their trading.

I am going to check day by day seasonality,
Maybe I can find one holy day. LMAO.

Here is another chart

If you really want to dig into it, seasonalgo and MRCI (both paid services) are the best sources for ideas. I papertraded some Seasonalgo seasonals about 2 years ago and was moderately "profitable." I think the ags/meats/softs make more sense than financial contracts (currencies/indicies/bonds).

Agree on the commodity side.
Here is mrci hypothetical equity curves :

Not impressive lately

Except for day trading, I always check seasonal before anything else. But I would never trade only on a seasonal pattern, only on fundamentals or only on a chart indicator.

Seasonal analysis is really overlooked. The average of the past 20 years, display on a chart will not tell anyone when to buy and when to sell. Sorry for adept of the "KISS" in trading (Gurus love that), it is just way more complicated.
I also agree on the commodity side and I will add all kind of indices.

Or put another way , anybody not use part of that top seasonal chart ??
Looks fairy helpful; except JAN seems to be in error/due to high probability of JAN market forcaster pattern.[50 years data]
IN other words JAN tends to be up more than FEB.
Good chart...………………………………………………………………………………………………………….
