Bought these two weeks ago while my gf was getting the asian nails, and toe thing done, lol. She looked at me, and in her light accent, made a joke about the terminator movie. Ruined me for some reason, as I just won't wear them. Paid $329, and have too many pairs of this particular brand as it is. They're top quality imo. You guys think $225 is about right? I'm not letting them collect dust.

Best customer service in business? And who the fuxx would anyone care about customer service when you buy or own sun glasses? Normal people go into a renowned glass shop (oh sorry, forgot those do not exist in the US, only mail order or shops at the mall, lol), get advice from the staff in the shop and buy a pair. Simple as that. And did I forget to mention? Most quality glasses in Japan and Europe cost $300 for the frame alone, and nobody brags about them. Seems the US working class indeed always needs something new to talk about among their peers ;-)

Has zero to do with sunglasses, but is the way things usually wind up with an engulfing like this. Am all for M&A, but will be my last pair of Maui Jim's if they do it. Maui Jim's customer service is the best in the business, and we all know how that will wind up once engulfed...:(

Volpunter, I noticed you took a liking to my OCD sunglasses habit, lol. Anyhow, took the Olowalu's back to the store I purchased them from. Not in a mall. Near the beach though, if that helps. Added some more $ (of course:(), and picked up a pair of grey lens Banyans, and a pair of bronze lens Banyans. Are VERY nice, and the bronze, I can't say enough good about. None the less, you took an interest, so here's a couple pics for you as well:)

Btw, you mentioned the Japanese spending $300 for just frames. Are you Japanese? Lol! And being a Hawaii company, they do seem to have some Japanese fans? Are you needing a certain price sunglasses in order to feel they're quality? I wore $10 shades in the Marines. I now wear $200-$300 shades. I hope that's ok with you..
 
of course thats ok with me, you can wear anything that pleases you. I merely pointed out that they (and this one) look like a 10 buck glasses you can pick up at the county fair or other beach shack. So unless the lenses are formulated by some compound that is top secret and not available from the world's top lense manufacturers (most of them being Japanese, and no, I am not Japanese nor Asian) you probably overpaid by 190 dollar for a 200 pair of sunglasses, and paid 190 dollar to some startup douche who gets his nipples licked by some russian doll for the dollar you spent on those glasses. So I just wanted to congratulate you.

P.S.: Does OCD stand for what I think it stands for? In case this is indeed the name of that brand, would you also wear glasses that were branded "FUCK YOU" and with the series name "STUPID"?

Well, I do like my $200 sunglasses that look like $10 per pair. Maybe they won't get stolen at the beach. And I'm with my gf now. She is Russian. Was that a guess on your part? Anyhow the lenses in these seem to do a tremendous job blocking out the rays I get in Florida.
