Russians are not human

Sadly a good number of non-elite Russians are decent humans who want nothing to do with this war and think it is a mistake. Unfortunately a large number of Russians have been fooled by Putin’s propaganda and false talking points and support the eradication of the Ukrainian people.

The Russians who don’t support the war are also victims in some way of it. However the Russians cheering on Putin’s aggression deserve what is coming to them economically and politically.

To me Putin is a monster and he does indeed things that are for 100% unacceptable. He should be brought for court for that.

I am Pro Ukrainian. But I try to be objective. And I must admit that the start from the problem was caused by the West, not by Putin. But Putin abused that to do unacceptable things.
Watching this video made me realize that I did miss a lot of information that was necessary to have a better funded opinion.

I am helping Ukrainian refugees to find a place to live. My wife is working in a team as trauma psychologist to help Ukrainian refugees. So I am surely not a Russian fan.

I didn't imply you were a Russian fan, just that people on here have labeled folks (me) as such for insinuating that the West should have known this was where things were going based on actions the West was pushing for during the last decade. Many, many prominent FP experts stated this, from Mearshimer to Kissinger.

I also agree with your feelings on Putin. But I did take umbrage with your thread title that Russians are not human. My wife is Russian (though half Ukrainian) and I lived over in Moscow for years. To make a blanket statement like that is...well, untrue. But I don't believe that's what you meant.
