Russian Jet 30 feet from U.S. Navy

It is pretty ironic that our first marxist president has rotten relations with Russia.
It's also "ironic" that our reactionaries like you, formerly of the "I've got a one way ticket to Russia for you pal" variety, are now "go Putin! Go Russia!!"

This is insane. What possible good can come of it? The risks of a miscalculation are obvious and extreme. I blame both sides, but in all honesty, Putin was no problem for us until Obama and McCain whipped up the Ukraine situation.

There is no upside for us in reigniting the Cold War and plenty of downside. Of course, the eastern Europeans who suffered under the Soviet Union want us to be very aggressive with Russia, but their interests and ours do not necessarily coincide.

Yeah, we all remember that big, bold response the Turks got when they shot down the Russian plane a couple months ago.

Yes, good point. If you poke a hornet's nest with a stick and only a couple of hornets come out, put your whole hand in there. That'll teach them a lesson.

The analogy would be if we had lost the Cold War and The Soviets had expanded the Warsaw Pact to include Mexico, Cuba and all of Latin America. Then they orchestrated a coup in Canada to put their thugs in power.
Trump is right on about 90 percent of the issues as far as I can tell. Why not let japan an South Korea defend themselves with nukes? Pakistan has them. Pakistan along with North Korea. Trump wants to dismantle this bullshit system and the parasites and warmongers are going Beserk. Fuck em. They're traitors.

Kerry has already apologized to the Russian military for sailing our boat too close to the plane. Our bad!
Bullshit he did.

"The US military would have been within its rights to shoot down Russian aircraft that flew close to one of its warships in the Baltic Sea, Secretary of State John Kerry says.

"Two Russian jets flew within metres of the ship on Monday, US officials said.

"Russia's defence ministry said the Su-24 fighter jets "turned away in observance of all safety measures" after observing the USS Donald Cook.

"Mr Kerry criticised the gesture and said contact had been made with Moscow.

"We condemn this kind of behaviour," he told the Miami Herald and CNN Espanol in a joint interview.

"It is reckless. It is provocative. It is dangerous. And under the rules of engagement, that could have been a shoot-down."

"He added that the US "is not going to be intimidated on the high seas" and that a message had been conveyed to Russia over the danger of such a gesture."
