Russia & Ukraine

It will be up to Vladimir Putin to end this Ukraine war because the US, NATO and their stooge Zelensky does not care and only want to make monies. No matter how many millions get killed in the process. Time to go scorched earth for Russia. This slow walking the Russian offensive in the hopes NATO comes to their senses is not working and will not work at all. So, go all out and totally annihilate the Ukraine army. That is the only way. First, destroy all arms and weapons depots, masses of Ukraine troops and volunteers, wherever they may be. Destroy all airfields including, fighter jets on the tarmac. Then, use glide bombs and go after the major command posts including, those staffed by NATO officers. Send the message that the end is near and there is no place to hide for Ukrainian top officials and their masters. Russia can then impose its terms on Ukraine like the US did to Japan after the bombing of Nagasaki and Hiroshima.
Holy cow Small... I like my idea better. Give Putin a somewhat face-saving backdoor out. Going scorched-earth on Ukraine would be horrible. You're Japanese right? Look at all the agony we caused on Tokyo before we dropped the atomic bombs. We turned the whole place into an inferno.

I mean I'm with you on this bs has to end, but a scorched earth policy via Putin...... uh-uh.

I am Asian but, not Japanese. Scorched earth as far as the Ukraine army that is. There are signs the Ukraine army is breaking. Now, there are reports that Ukrainian soldiers at the frontlines have refused to fight the Russians and some have even abandoned and deserted their posts entirely. They probably, realise, they will all wind up dead if they fight the Russians who are stronger than them, more well armed, and employing the most vicious weapons like the glide bombs and Iskander missiles against them. Putin is a moderate in the Russian Security Cabinet, Medvedev and others have been urging Putin to be more aggressive on fighting the Ukrainians. Putin has been offering to talk with Ukraine but, Zelensky and US continue to impose unreasonable demands like complete Russian withdrawal from Crimea and other occupied areas. Since, NATO and Zelensky wants to fight, Russia will end up with taking more territories from Ukraine. Maybe, Russians will take Odessa from Ukraine too.

With invisible black sea navy and invisible army that ,, will show up one day ", ofcourse, they can deny any logic and move anywhere undetected.

Huh, what? Just like Trump, Putin takes no responsibility for his failures.

Putin on Kursk failure: Not my fault
Russian leader says Ukraine’s gains sound like a you problem.
https://www.politico.eu/article/vladimir-putin-kursk-russia-invasion-war-in-ukraine/

President Vladimir Putin has a message for the Russian region where Ukraine has seized more than 1,000 square kilometers of territory: Don’t blame me.

Speaking via videoconference to a meeting of Russian politicians, including the governors of Kursk, Belgorod and Bryansk regions, Putin said the “security issues” that had arisen in Kursk were “problems that are the responsibility of the security forces.”

He added that Moscow would work with “local and regional authorities” and “security agencies” to “play a positive role in achieving the goals that we have here.”

Kyiv’s troops invaded Kursk, which borders Ukraine, in a surprise offensive earlier this month, leading the region’s governor to declare a state of emergency.

Russian authorities were left reeling as Ukrainian troops streamed into Russia, capturing vast swathes of land. Ukraine has now taken more than 90 Russian settlements in Kursk, according to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, while also capturing many prisoners of war.

On Thursday, the Kursk regional governor announced that new concrete shelters would be installed in the area for protection.

Not to worry Vatniks.

This cargo ship/ferry is doing just fine. Moscow reports that lots of drones were shot down by their superb aerial defenses. Don't get distracted by those one or two pesky little drones missiles that they did not shoot down.

Ruskies are complaining about civilians being killed. Solution: Don't travel on cargo ships or be near anything supplying the military. All of Russia is part of the war zone now. Similiarly if you are a civilian using the Kerch Bridge, you know that it is 100% within Ukrainian crosshairs and you could be dead anytime. So don't do that.

Russia admits to slowing YouTube speeds for refusing to comply with ‘legislation’

Russian authorities admitted on Thursday that they are deliberately slowing YouTube loading speeds in response to Google’s refusal to comply with Russian tech regulations.

By the end of this week, YouTube download speeds on desktop computers in Russia may drop by 40%, and by the end of next week by 70%, according to Russian lawmaker Alexander Khinshtein, who is responsible for the country’s information policy. This slowdown would not affect YouTube on mobile phones “for now,” he added.

Khinshtein’s statement followed complaints from Russian users and experts about recent disruptions to Google-owned video-sharing service. Some speculated that Russia is preparing to ban YouTube in the country.

Earlier in June, the Kremlin dismissed this speculation, blaming the disruptions on “technical issues with Google Global Cache equipment,” which allows local internet providers to serve certain Google content from within their own networks.
