after everything putin did - not only in ukraine - but in the last 20+ years - he surely does not deserve a "way out" or any sort of chance to declare this crime a success. that would only encourage him.
he is old and sick - suicide is his best option at this point.
russian nukes will surely not be used - beside the fact that they would most likely not work anyway.
This is a good example of the rhetorical smear campaign that's been getting hot for a decade, but had been brewing ever since the cold war.
US/NATO does not have as clean of hands as you think through all of this. It was involved in a coup in Ukraine in 2014...the first step toward turning Ukraine into a forward base.
Since then, the US were arming Ukraine toward a day when, fully armed, Ukraine would be declared a member of NATO.
Armament>>NATO. In that order.
Basically a slow motion sneak attack. Like the slow motion sneak attack out of Gaza, which armed itself for a decade prior.
Arguably, the US was also involved with the decade long armament and sneak attack coming out of Gaza. The US has been funding Egypt, which was smuggling arms into Gaza through a number of tunnels that any US intelligence agent would have known about. And for a long time (except the Trump years) has been funding both Hamas (in Gaza) and Fatah (the PA in Judea/Samaria)
Putins seizure of Crimea (yet another Russian heritage region)... maybe you think that is one of his crimes? It was a response to the coup in 2014, to make sure Russia would keep a navy base on the Black Sea...as Ukraine would be used as a forward base.
