Peace with Russia would be a good thing. It would be nice to see what the plan is. If just finding out what Putin wants and give him that (which seems to be what Trump supports) is not much of a plan.
Trump has spoken in favor of the Putin plan which is "let Russia take as much of Ukraine as possible then settle the war based on existing occupation lines."
But what if Ukraine is occupying Kursk, Belgorod, and Crimea at that time?
Well, then, Putin is going to want something else and , ipso facto, Trump will want something else.
In regard to the Putin bootlickers who say that NATO seemed to be too aggressive in the region, the opposite is true. NATO only put more forces in forward positions because Putin had taken a piece of Georgia, and then he took Crimea, and it was clear he was on the move. Putin saw the disastrous withdrawal from AFG and made his move when the US had a weak president. He got in over his head though because the Ukrainians fought back. We are now at about day 910 of the 3-day war.
It is still a David and Goliath situation though and the odds favor Russia and the war is about Putin's legacy and he is taking his entire country along for the ride. If he had put all of his energy into staying out of a war in Ukraine and continuing to improve internal Russia his legacy would have been good. Russians have a long history of supporting some fucking autocratic type and then beating their chest and telling the world that no one knows how to suffer like a Russian. Look no further than current times for another example.
I do believe 100% though that Putin would not have invaded Ukraine if Trump had been in the White House and peace through strength is a thing. Ditto for Iran and China relations.

He might want to check to see if there are electric charging stations out there on the front lines.
There are times when it is not convenient to wait hours for your vehicle to charge up. Such as when Ukrainian drones have your sorry arse in their crosshairs.

Some more information. Not only did Elon Musk give Kadyrov, a sanctioned individual, a Cybertruck; Kadyyrov is going to send the armed Cybertruck to Ukraine to be used by the against the Ukrainians. This effectively makes Musk a traitor against the United States by going against our interests and violating our laws. When is Elon Musk going to be arrested?

Some interesting comments from Russians in Kursk in this article, who are directly calling for the Ukraine and the United States to take over Russia and get rid of Putin in order to "free them from this circus of clowns".
There are numerous Russian regions on the edge of revolt and this invasion by Ukraine may provide the trigger to act.

Russians in Kursk city are ready to evacuate at a “moment’s notice” and already have escape plans in place should Ukrainian forces reach the city.
Locals told the Telegraph they fear Ukraine will “penetrate deep into the territory of the Russian Federation” amid its ongoing invasion of the southern border regions of Kursk and Belgorod.
They spoke of being forced to continue their daily lives as usual despite fighting edging closer to the city of Kursk, just 57 miles from the border.
Ukraine’s cross-border assault entered its thirteenth day on Sunday, with Russia redeploying “several thousand” troops from occupied areas to roll back the unprecedented advance. Volodymyr Zelensky’s troops have made steady gains, armed with Nato weapons that hold the potential to turn the tide of the war.
Maksim, a shop worker in Kursk city, described the windows of his supermarket shaking amid Ukrainian attacks but said that he and his colleagues had nowhere to shelter.
“We continued to work during attacks, there is no shelter in Kursk, it’s not the United States. The officials here do not like ordinary people,” he said. “We still live the way we lived, because we have nowhere to go.”
Maksim voiced his support for the US, whose High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems, known as HIMARS, have been critical in the advance.
“I’m only for Ukraine or the United States to free us from this circus with clowns, it’s incredibly impossible for us to fight for justice in Russia.”
He claimed that countless individuals who have fled the areas of Kursk now under Ukrainian control, including the strategically significant town of Sudzha, have been left without adequate shelter.
Russian media reported that 20 evacuation centres had been set up following the attacks, but over the last few days, these have swelled to capacity as people carrying bags of hurriedly packed belongings fled from the border region.
“People have lost their homes and property literally, and they have nowhere to spend the night, for that the president promises everyone 100 dollars, isn’t it a mockery?” said Maksim.

Even though I always preface my comments with acknowledgement that Russia has the upper hand and it is a David and Goliath situation, nevertheless, I say this:

The pundits are all talking like nervous tits who are wetting their pants. Acting like old babushkas, all of them.
That is not the job of a tv pundit in Russia. Their job is to put a good face on all of Russia's/Putin's fake bullshit. And they FAILED bigtime here. Putin must be shitting his pants watching this type of thing. Olga Skabeeva, Marguerita, etc. are also talking the same way. Putin gets away with his shit in Russia by guaranteeing the people domestic security and in return they leave him alone while he plays his international aggressive games and tries to be Peter the Great in his own mind. That is the grand bargain between Putin and his people.
BUT, that grand bargain falls apart when he cannot guarantee internal security to large pieces of the population. Which is the case now. The people in Belgorod are quite okay with watching Putin do his thing in Ukraine like they are watching him shoot fish in a barrel. Except now, the people of Belgorod are worrying about whether they are going to have Ukrainian troops in their city killing their people. That is not part of the grand bargain with Putin. Poor babies.
