Putin is pissed. He went from second strongest army in world to second strongest in Ukraine and now is second strongest in Russia

you can evacuate more or less the entire western half of russia and send all those people to eastern half.

because in the eastern half of russia only about 8 million people are living there.

and half of them in the vladivostok region - which is actually property of china.

so - more than enough free space

Most of eastern Russia is unbearably cold in the winter. Even Vladivostok which is on the water and has a latitude of 43N (around the same as Milwaukee) only has an average high of 18F in January.

Yeah we "enslave" every single Swedish citizen that's capable in times of war as well, you might not end up in the army but you're required to aid in what is called total defense regardless, even if that's simply showing up at work. There's no other democratic reasonable way to defend a country that's not a superpower.
