If you see my post it had the source reference: Seymour Hersh, US political reporter and Pulitzer Prize for International Reporting (he exposed the My Lai massacre in Vietnam and Abu Graib torture in Iraq). He has CIA contacts who are prepared to be quoted Anonymously. Whether you believe what he writes or not, he is not a Kremlin asset, would have been exposed over the last 60 years if he was.

Ageing "investigative journalist" Seymour Hersh has been caught publishing anti-Ukrainian material that appears, beyond a reasonable doubt, to have been translated from a Russian source, as opposed to the U.S. source that Hersh claimed to have.
