Update: Reports are Russia is winning, Ukrainians suffering heavy casualties and Kharkiv and Odessa could be the next ones to fall after Avdiivka. Ukrainian territories shrinking so, Zelensky and his handlers better talk peace with Vladimir Putin as one French general said of late. It is Zelensky's only chance.

LOL. Such amusing repetition of Kremlin propaganda points. Of course, not backed by any facts on the ground. Russia can't even take little towns like Avdiivka (former population 32k) without incurring over 15,000 military deaths over the course of two months. The population of my subdivision PUD is much larger than any village Russia has been able to take over the past year.

The FAB is just an inferior glide bomb version of the U.S. JDAM. It is widely inferior to the JDAM in accuracy -- and Ukraine has been supplied with numerous JDAMs but finds missiles more effective.

So in summary, Russia cannot obtain air superiority in Ukraine and is running short of longer range missiles --- which has forced Russia to use FAB glide bombs that that be launched from a distance from the front line -- but have limited accuracy. Basically it is a weapon of terror trying to target Ukrainian cities rather than a useful tactical weapon for the battlefield.
