The West withdrawing support for Ukraine is a necessary but insufficient condition for Ukraine to lose. Even if all the NATO countries withdraw support*, and that's not happening, it will still be impossible for Russia to win in Ukraine, unless the Ukrainians give up. We see zero signs of them giving up.

It's impossible for Russia to win this war for the same reason it was impossible for the U.S. to defeat the North Vietnamese.

Our choice is not between helping Ukraine or handing Ukraine to Russia but rather between a short war or a long one. Either way Ukraine will win. Again for the same reasons the U.S. could not win in Vietnam.

*Both Finland and Denmark give far more military support to Ukraine per capita than does the U.S. So far the U.S. has given, per capita, relatively little support to Ukraine, and it is self serving support at that.

Badly losing and on the hook of hundreds of billions every year because USA pays for everything in Ukraine weapons, salaries, police, starlink, rebuilding, refugees etc

It took a mere 4% of the U.S. Defense Budget to eliminate 50% of the Russian military. I say we pony up a little more money and eliminate the other 50%.

Natives are getting restless in Moscow. Not a good time to not have heat. The winter is just beginning.

"Residents across the Moscow suburbs are besieged by a heating problem, for which they plead direct intervention from President Vladimir Putin. These individuals have yet to experience any semblance of home heating since winter started due to a dwindling supply of heating oil."

Sure, it is just a small crowd. But I am pretty sure they are not the only ones without heat and they have another five months of winter to go.

Putin has an election coming up next year. We know he will "win" but the FSB will be busy busting heads and killing people who speak out.

Russia has nearly no natural gas, and no gasoline or diesel... Already riots and complaints are breaking out across Russia due to the lack of home heating oil. It is going to be a very cold winter of discontent in Russia. The vatniks will now learn the harsh lesson of what they attempted to do to Ukraine last winter.

Well... it's hard to keep refineries running without western technology. This wound is effectively "self inflicted" by Putin on the Russian economy thanks to sanctions over his war crimes and invasion of Ukraine coupled with the need for diesel for military operations.
