Russia & Ukraine

As for the drones over the Kremlin. It's all predictable... Russia is clearly preparing a large-scale terrorist attack. That's why it first detains a large allegedly subversive group in Crimea. And then it demonstrates "drones over the Kremlin". First of all, Ukraine wages an exclusively defensive war and does not attack targets on the territory of the Russian Federation. What for? This does not solve any military issue. But it gives RF grounds to justify its attacks on civilians... Secondly, we are watching with interest the growing number of mishaps and incidents that are taking place in different parts of RF. The emergence of unidentified unmanned aerial vehicles at energy facilities or on Kremlin's territory can only indicate the guerilla activities of local resistance forces. As you know, drones can be bought at any military store... The loss of power control over the country by Putin's clan is obvious. But on the other hand, Russia has repeatedly talked about its total control over the air. In a word, something is happening in RF, but definitely without Ukraine's drones over the Kremlin...

Like 9/11? This strategy always seems to work with the people. I guess they will be blowing Rada to bits now.

So how many people did the Kremlin's drone propaganda stunt kill? Oh, none. Very different than 9/11 which is a proven attack by terrorists killing thousands.

Here is some proper perspective for you on the Kremlin "drone attack""...

Here is my take on it: It's a pathetic attempt by putin to engage the average russian in a war and make them feel like it's coming to their house. Putin's only hope to achieve substantial goals in the war is to mobilize russian society into a "holy" war. The current apathetic attitude of an average russian resulted in a lack of cannon fodder for the front lines. The meat grinder tactic appears to be the only viable tactic for the old dictator. In Sep 2022, putin organized a rally on the red square before announcing "partial mobilization." The mobilization was a complete failure. Even though they managed to grab enough people, the quality of the mobilized personnel and tremor waves over the communities made the russian elites question if it was worth it. The strike is symbolic; the target is the russian flag, president putin, and the sacred Kremlin. It's everything the average russian holds dear. Also, the attacks come before a potential counter-offensive in which putin can lose control over large amounts of Ukrainian territory. Also, consider that a blast on top of roof couldn't hurt putin, the amount of air defense systems around Kremlin is so dense that no UAV can get through. The strike is a russian false flag operation designed to call to patriotic feelings of an avarage russian male. I can imagine that some western leaders will piss their pants as well, and call to cut aid to Ukraine.

Not to be confused with the other fuel depot strike in Sevastopol a couple days ago.

This attack is something the Ruskies really need to worry about because it means that - once again- the Ukrainians have pierced the same air defense system that protects the bridge, or should protect it.

The Ukrainians are probing the defense system there. They have some harpoon missiles and and don't want to use them until they understand everything about the defense system around the bridge.

Of course, the Russians are just saying that it "caught fire" without giving the cause. Could be another smoking problem.

Take home message: If you are a tourist do not park close to the bridge to take selfies. Not safe.

Yep, you don’t mess around with small stuff. We know.

Medvedev posted that only option left now is to take out Zelensky. Told ya.

Not surprising since this is nothing more than Putin's propaganda stunt to justify further attacking civilians in Ukraine and assassinating Ukraine's leadership... in order to rally the Russian population around a war that Russia is about to take major territorial losses in.
