Today is the 80th anniversary of the mass murder in Yanova Valley, organized by Bandera during the Volyn massacre. Yanova Dolina (pictured) was a model workers' settlement established by the Poles in a basalt quarry in the 1930s.
On the night of April 23, 1943, UPA militants attacked the sleeping village and began to methodically set fire to all the houses, killing the local population, including children. Those who got out of the fire were finished off. From the local hospital, Bandera first took all the Ukrainians, the staff was hacked to death with axes, and the hospital was set on fire along with the Poles who were inside. In total, up to 800 people were killed (mostly burned alive). The village ceased to exist.
Now in Ukraine the commander of these militants (Ivan Litvinchuk) is honored, a school is named after him.

Pathetic virtue signaling from rapists and murderers.

Yeah... let's take a look at what the Russians are doing in the current day.

Exactly what happened - US provoked war in Ukraine to stop Russia and China forming anti US axis
It seems everyone in the world, except you, knows why Russia invaded Ukraine. Vladimir Putin knows why he invaded. He knows he is lying to the Russian people when he tells them that NATO threatened Russia or that he invaded Ukraine to protect Russians living there from "Ukrainian Nazis." Everyone, including Putin, knows these are invented excuses having nothing to do with the real reason he decided to invade Ukraine. It is a delusion to believe that NATO, and even a NATO that includes Ukraine, poses any threat of aggression whatsoever to Russia. Putin knows this.

Putin knew that he must stop Ukraine from joining NATO, otherwise his dream could never be realized --- his dream of bringing Ukraine, with all of its valuable resources, once again under Russian control . Before Ukraine would likely become a NATO nation there would not be enough time left to take over all of Ukraine by slow subterfuge, using tactics similar to what he succeeded with in Crimea. He gambled, therefore, on a rapid, blitzkrieg-like military invasion. But he badly misjudged the capabilities of the Russian Army, the resolve of the Ukrainian People and the solidarity of the NATO alliance to resist Russian aggression. Now, the lies he's told to the Russian People have politically trapped him, and all of Russia, in yet another immoral and unwinnable war...

Ukrainians have crossed and are probing the east side of the Dnipro River in a minor but ballsy move.
The Russians will scurry over and put an end to that but it will cost them. They are thin on troops so they will have to take them from some other needed area.

This is related somewhat- although indirectly- to the battle for Bahkmut. Yes, it is true that Russians are gaining there, somewhat. (although western equipment is arriving soon). But it is preventing Russia from moving troops to other areas where the Ukrainians are probing or thinking of advancing.

It was the same thing in that disastrous, disastrous fight at Vuldemar (I can't actually remember the exact name/spelling of that city/town).Total disaster for the Russians. The Russians are advancing ever so slightly in Bakhmut but they were unable to send more troops to Valdemar.

Having said all that. The Ukrainians are in tough shape too. I have never said otherwise.

Putin held navy drills in the pacific and there has been a steady stream of Russia backed articles about how well those went and about the alleged powerful projection of force by the Russians. Putin even did a live broadcast of Shoigu giving Putin an update on the drills. Everything great. Awesome.

Then the next week, Putin fires the Pacific Fleet Commander.

Let the viewers decide.

Interesting.

Looks like there is bit more to the above story.

Putin allegedly fired top admiral for refusing to send sailors to war
Vladimir Putin has reportedly fired a top admiral because of his refusal to send his sailors to fight in the war against Ukraine. Admiral Sergei Avakyants (pictured left), 66, was suddenly stripped of the role of commander of the Russian Pacific Fleet last week during war games involving nuclear bombers ordered by the Kremlin. Avakyants has been seeking to protect his men from deployment - to prevent them from being cannon fodder - according to Volya and Brief Telegram. The admiral had repeatedly resisted or subverted orders to send his men to fight in Ukraine. And Yugoslavia knows that, and Lybia know that, and Syria know that and Iran knows that and Iraq knows that and Afganistan know that

Basically every country in the world is in complete safety from NATO. LOL
