Russia & Ukraine

Well, it fell in the Black Sea, and stuff doesn't immediately sink.
Either way, Russia has UUV's that can recover that stuff, just like we do. 5,000 feet is nothing. The Air France Airbus that crashed leaving Rio was recovered in the Atlantic off of S. America at like 20,000 feet. How do you think Putin planted explosive charges on Nordstream 2?
Regarding self-destruct, the only thing that was wiped out by the operator was the software... as I said when it happened, there's still plenty of tech the Russians would love to see.
And they are.
Case closed.

They will find a lot of electronics. Unfortunatelly they cannot buy these electronics... and not copy probably.

China once bought a stepping machine from ASML in the Netherlands to try to copy it and make chips themself. They dismounted everything, didn't understand anything, and tried to put the machine together again. The machine never worked again, and the Chinese still have no clue about what they wanted to find out. They just lost (i think) around $250 MM as the machine became in fact scrap, but in a beautiful package.

Yeah right. That thing was in Moscow 72 hours after it went down. Tops.
Apparently I do in fact give you too much credit in the IQ department.

The U.S. bricked the important code as it went down. The Russians likely retrieved the physical drone; they have plenty of deep water naval equipment. I concur they were probably happy to get this sample of U.S. technology. But seeing the U.S. uses this drone primarily to fly over/near hostile areas (rather then piloted spy planes) it is likely that the U.S. believes that it was just a matter of time until one was shot down and landed up in Russian or Chinese hands.

No they did not.You are a fool if you think they did.
Russian military conversations between personnel on ships and in aircraft discussing the MQ-9 Reaper were captured by radio hobbyists beginning about eight hours after the drone was damaged after being struck by a Russian fighter jet, the New York Times reported.

The audio recordings, picked up by the hobbyists while monitoring public airwaves, indicate that debris, including parts of an engine’s case, nose, wing and gas tank, were recovered.

There’s no sign that the Russians were able to retrieve any sensitive technology, but the report points out that the recordings contained audio interference and military code words that make them hard to understand.

That thing is useless and at the bottom of the ocean. If it had any value The US would immediately have went and got it.You know damn well The US flies those things over enemy territory and have a plan for them if they go down.

Dont know what video you are referring to.

President Biden joked Monday that he only showed up to a White House event because he heard there would be ice cream — before addressing the horrific mass shooting that left six dead at a Nashville elementary school hours earlier.

“My name is Joe Biden. I’m Dr. Jill Biden’s husband,” the 80-year-old president began his remarks at an East Room gathering of women-owned businesses.

“And I eat Jeni’s ice cream — chocolate chip. I came down because I heard there was chocolate chip ice cream,” he said.

“By the way, I have a whole refrigerator full upstairs,” Biden added at his only scheduled public appearance of the day. “You think I’m kidding? I’m not.”

The president then turned serious to address the shooting at the Covenant School, in which three students and three staff members were killed, calling it “sick” and “a family’s worst nightmare” before demanding once again that Congress pass a ban on assault weapons.

There are a million little things that Russia will be very interested in, and again don't be stupid, every piece down to the last rivet is in Moscow.

Dude, you need to quit watching Tic-Toc or whatever other brain-dead pursuit it is that molds those one way synapses in your head, and read more about science, technology, and the extents nation states will go to to gather military intel.
You're clueless. :D
