Russia & Ukraine

A theory is mentioned in the vid that Ukraine is holding out Bakhmut so that the infrastructure of other regions would suffer less.

It is not stupidity. But the traits of individualism, initiative, and reliance on yourself vs. on the government have been very much weakened in Russia by systematic, relentless, more-than-100-years campaign of killing, exiling, and persecuting of tens of millions of the best and the brightest people in the nation.

It is one of the biggest inadvertent eugenics experiments in history. And you can see the results today.

This is true, sadly.

Sadly this is a dark view of the last century of Russian history under authoritarian governments that rings true. Since 1917 millions of people executed, endless persecution and many educated individuals fleeing the country. Very rarely do you see @terr and @Master Pu agreeing.

Russia has so much potential but it was been wasted by authoritarian leadership, oligarchs who robbed everything, and the failure to focus on evolving their economy.

Eastern Europe also had to contend with Russian brutality for decades under the Iron Curtain. This is why these nations are in the forefront of stating Putin's attempt to reestablish the Soviet Union via violent military invasions is unacceptable.

The bottom line however is that anyone who is supporting Putin and not fully supporting Ukraine in their struggle to avoid being brutalized by Russia -- is really wanting many more decades of "killing, exiling, and persecuting of tens of millions of the best and the brightest people in the nation" of Russia.

This is today's reminder that Putin is Xi's little biatch.

Xi's visit to Russia was humbling for Putin and showed how much China is dominant, experts say
