Not content with merely having his troops loot everything from Ukraine, Putin is now going to pay them for every sq. meter of land that they steal. Yeah, this sounds like a clown that wants peace.

Desperate Vladimir Putin Offers Soldiers Cash Bonus for Every Kilometre of Land They Steal From Ukraine

Russian President Vladimir Putin has developed a unique incentive program, which has been implemented out of desperation.

Putin has implemented a new campaign to encourage soldiers to invade Ukraine and receive monetary compensation for every mile of land taken.

The reported guidelines have been released to the public and appear on bulletin boards, Telegram channels and sent directly to local schools and apartment complexes.

The report originated from the media outlet Meduza and was later seen by the Daily Star. According to the report, individuals who sign up are eligible for a bonus of around $3,000 and receive a monthly salary of about $2,200.

On top of these financial incentives, individuals are given around $500 per mile gained in "active participation in assault operations".

Russia is in a state of turmoil since the War began in 2022. 700,000 troops were reportedly lost, with the majority being men injured so badly they could no longer be sent back to the front line.

It is estimated that the Russian army has lost one fifth of what was originally taken from Ukraine early on in the year-long conflict. The takeover process involves annexation and as of present, Russia holds around 40,000 square miles of Ukraine.

Several local officials from Novosibirsk and Pyatigorsk have infiltrated residential complexes by distributing postcards and sending letters asking for the report to be shared amongst the occupants. Furthermore, local schools were asked to handle out postcards to parents in order to encourage the recruitment of elderly and young troops.

The campaign has perplexed Russia's neighbouring states, as such a request appears desperate and unethical.

Putin is known to have a despotic attitude, manipulating military personnel in order to gain more land. Europe is demanding that the President ends his hostile takeover and pulls forces out of Ukraine.

This is likely from some Russian SNL.
Only demented proukranian idiot would think it's for real

Here is the upcoming reality for the Russians -- and it is not the least bit funny for them.

Russia gives up on further offensive and focuses on deterring defence forces
According to Bloomberg, the Kremlin has abandoned plans for a further offensive in Ukraine this spring, so Russians will focus on deterring a Ukrainian counteroffensive.

Bloomberg, citing its sources, writes that in preparation for a long struggle, the Kremlin aims to recruit up to 400,000 contract servicemen this year to replenish its ranks.

then later in the article is says:

The publication also notes that, according to Ukrainian and Western officials, almost all of the 300,000 Russians mobilised in the fall are now on the battlefield, but Russia has not managed to capture a single major city in recent months.

Note that these new recruits are not additive. They are to replace those killed and those whose 1-year conscription is up. And yet they think that round two is going to save them? And guess what, round one did not have much equipment and round two will have even less. In addition, a good part of round two will need to defend Crimea or the land bridge to it, which round one did not have to do.

As usual, don't get me wrong. Ukraine is in a dire situation unless the ammo situation is fixed and they are getting killed by the boatload every week. But Russia is in ultra-bad circumstances because they want/wanted to go on the offense and requires more troops and resources. Looks like they are giving up on some of that but they may declare that they are just going to do defend against the counteroffensive in the donbas- except- as discussed- Ukraine gets to have a vote on that. They get to open up a front in or near Crimea. If you be a Ruskie, you be defending that too.

Also, to state the obvious, the new recruits are a pitiful bunch. I am tempted that to say that Russia "is not sending their best." Unfortunately, they are. The best of what's left.

The idiocy of the Russians has no limitations.
Soldiers complain that:
  • they have no weapons
  • they have no food
  • they have no adapted clothes
  • they fight in first line while they were promised to be behind the frontline (second or third line)
  • they receive no salary
  • most of them are still registered as being in Russia, so that in case they die, Russia does not have to pay anything. The "not paid" salary is also lower as they are officially in Russia and not abroad.
  • they can only choose to be shot by Ukrainians or by Russians (if they refuse to fight). So they are between two fires.
But they found the solution for their problem: they asked Putin to help them!

ROFLMAO

They don't even realize that it is Putin who is sending them there and causing all these problems.

How idiot can you be?

It is not stupidity. But the traits of individualism, initiative, and reliance on yourself vs. on the government have been very much weakened in Russia by systematic, relentless, more-than-100-years campaign of killing, exiling, and persecuting of tens of millions of the best and the brightest people in the nation.

It is one of the biggest inadvertent eugenics experiments in history. And you can see the results today.
