Russia & Ukraine

Navalny is kind of a snake.

Westerners like to think he is the face of Putin opposition and is therefore supportive of Ukraine.

Not necessarily. He has consistently stated that Crimea is part of Russia and no one should ever expect to see it leave Russia. But now he is getting snaky as Ukraine resists more and starting to change his views from day to day.

It is tempting to think that Navalny is the leader of the opposition and a good guy because he is not Putin and anyone who is not Putin needs to be elevated. Maybe. I don't know. But I never found Navalny to be that impressive.

This might seem like a trivial topic but as various peace plans are proposed the media and others tend to look to Navalny for his opinion. But he does not speak for anyone in Ukraine or the west and I dont think he has that much support in Russia.

I yield to others here who know the situation on the ground there in Russia- whereas I do not. But his snaky position on Crimea has been troublesome to me.

Navalny's Policy Shift on Crimea May Be Too Little, Too Late

You moron. It's an Iron Cross that he made himself with a swastika on it.

And yes there are neo-Nazis in Ukraine. As there are in Russia. Some of them commanders of Russian forces. As I pointed out, with documentation, several times on this thread and you ignored.

Zelensky: "Short version? The reason why we have not retreated from Bakhmut is the hunting of Russians there has been very, very fruitful. We have not reached our bag limit yet".

Zelensky warns of ‘open road’ through Ukraine’s east if Russia captures Bakhmut, as he resists calls to retreat

I watch daily the dead russia headcount and you would think after 1 year it would decrease, to the contrary, going higher, sometimes +1000 deaths per day I have seen last couple weeks.
It took 10 months to get to 100,000, in last 2 months +50,000.

Back from September/kharkiv, released only now (?)

Some say that for Rus to retreat, they have to lose 500 000. Who knows. Maybe that's their cannon fodder mentality, - ,,if half a million couldn't do it, nothing will"

There was 8 years for Ukraine to prepare.
Taiwan had 45.

there are some nazis in Russia, no doubt

but Ukraine is a nazi state, their ideology is nazi, half of their army have nazi tatoos or wear nazi signs

feel difference?

what question must be answered - if you personally support nazi state like Ukraine. Are you nazi yourself?
