The head of Chechnya and Putin's main ally might be terminally ill with severe kidney problems, Kazakh journalist Azamat Maytanov reported citing his own sources. Ramzan Kadyrov has been a despotic, pro-Kremlin leader of the Chechen Republic since 2007 and an outspoken foe of Ukraine.

"There is information that the chief nephrologist of the UAE, Dr. Yasin Ibrahim El-Shahat, a well-known doctor with 30 years of experience, has arrived in Grozny," Maytanov wrote on his Telegram.

"His area of expertise lies in nephrology, dialysis, transplantation, glomerulonephritis, and acute renal failure. Kadyrov is allegedly very bad and has serious kidney problems."

"According to Akhmed Zakayev (the representative of the Ichkerian Cabinet in exile), Kadyrov is ill and has already become a drug addict. He claims that some kind of energy pills previously supported the overactivity of the head of Chechnya," the Kazakh journalist added.

According to other sources cited by Maytanov, Kadyrov was poisoned. Therefore, he does not trust Moscow doctors. Due to illness, according to the journalist, Kadyrov was not at Putin's annual address in the Kremlin.

Kadyrov has been a vocal opponent of Kyiv and supporter of Moscow beginning when Russia invaded Ukraine’s Crimean Peninsula following the ousting of former Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovich in February 2014.

In September 2022, during the current, full-scale invasion he has advocated for Russia to use nuclear weapons against Ukraine.

Putin promoted Kadyrov to Colonel General in the National Guard of Russia last October.

Looks like these fellows did not make out very well.

Allegedly there is a big spring offensive in progress or coming.

Not sure exactly when all the "newly trained" troops show up. The "newly trained" ones tend to look a lot like the previous "untrained" ones.

Cannon fodder units.

Regiment of untrained Russian mobilized soldiers destroyed near Donetsk
RFE/RL’s Siberia branch Sibir.Realii reports that untrained mobilized Russians from the Irkutsk Oblast were sent to storm Ukrainian fortifications near occupied Donetsk as part of the first and second battalions of the 1439th Regiment. Almost all of them were killed from February 28 to March 1.

On March 3, relatives of two mobilized soldiers told journalists that nearly the entire regiment was destroyed: several people were wounded and the rest were killed but are considered missing.

“My son called me back – he was wounded and in the hospital. He says there is nothing left of the regiment. Only two wounded are known so far, the rest are either dead or left there in serious condition. He will be given only a week! Then they’ll throw him back to the front line!” said the wife of one of the mobilized men.

On February 27, the mobilized soldiers made their third appeal to Vladimir Putin, complaining about the actions of the command of Russia’s proxy “Donetsk People’s Republic.”

According to the soldiers, they are sent to attack without reconaissance, communications, and artillery support, and when they complain that the mobilized “cannot fulfill the order,” they are threatened with prosecution for desertion.

The appeal gives an example of threats: “If will be sent away under the article on desertion, you will get into trouble with the commandant’s office and the military police, we will disband you two by two and send you on an offensive from which you will not return.”

Sibir.Realii notes that those mobilized have no military training: they are construction workers, drivers, and managers. Many of them are over 40 years old with chronic illnesses.

The mobilized claim that the command evacuates only soldiers of the so-called “Donetsk People’s Republic” with light injuries. The seriously wounded and killed are left at their positions because they are “afraid of losing their equipment.” The killed Russians are considered missing, but the wounded are still evacuated once a day on stretchers.

The journalists add that the military police detained a deputy commander from the political part of the regiment with the call sign “Skelya” who tried to explain to the command that “yesterday’s drivers, welders, furniture makers, and scrap metal workers cannot belong to an elite unit of assault troops and do not have the skills for this.”

Joe currently consulting with his campaign advisors to figure out what the right military response should be.

If planned Ukraine offensive falters, air power advocates will blame Biden for loss

President Joe Biden is about to do something he never would if it involved the military. He’s effectively sending Ukrainian forces into what promises to be a hellish, bloody ground assault without the benefit of air cover.

The killed Russians are considered missing, but the wounded are still evacuated once a day on stretchers.

That is what I'm talking about. No wonder Russia is underachieving in Ukraine: Inefficient use of manpower. After all, each wounded needs two men to carry the stretcher and when fighting Ukraine, you know there will lots of wounded. Anyone with a minimal understanding of technology would know to build a conveyor belt!

Nasty conditions herein.

The Russians are using their tanks as stationary artillery- just firing shells- as a way to avoid the mud and to avoid the open roads where the Ukrainians have had a lot of success in taking them out with javelins.

The problem there though, is that contrast firing is EXTREMELY hard on the tank gun barrels. They fire hot and with an extremely hard punch to penetrate and explode equipment. They are meant to deliver a hard, highly accurate punch and then move on. The Russians burn out a lot of those barrels and are in no position to replace them.

MUD, BLOOD AND AMMO

Already has been answered - to the last Ukrainian. You see how hypocritical the West is, they say they care about Ukraine but don't care if they all were to be exterminated by the Russians. If they cared about Ukrainians and were confident as you are about the outcome of NATO vs Russia, then NATO forces already would have been fighting in Ukraine.

Here is a glimpse of the future for Putin and Russia.
